Furnishing the living room with the right furnishing essentials was very important

Description of the activity

Furnishing the living room with the right furnishing essentials was very important. The first and foremost step of refurbishing the living room was to be repainted (the first coat of paint was applied in January 2019). We opted for white shades and this actually helped the room look bigger and more spacious. Walls, ceiling and the old TV furniture were again painted white. Comfortable dark olive-green sofas were also purchased and arranged around a coffee table to promote easy interaction with residents’ friends and family.

Another important decorative essential used to furnish the living room with were the curtains. Soft white shades were chosen to also create an impressive appearance. On the walls some decorative hanging crafts made by the students added more to the entire look of the room.

Finally, hanging light shades were some unique options that were installed, and they, therefore, created a long-lasting appeal.
